Alaska's State Board of Education is seeking public input on a policy change that would explicitly prohibit transgender girls from playing on girls' sports teams. Alaskans overwhelmingly and repeatedly rejected this idea in public hearings, but this has not stopped the administration from proposing this alarming and unconstitutional regulation. Use this form to customize and submit written comments to the Board. The deadline for written comments is 4:30 p.m. on July 21.
The public is also invited to join the Board's next meeting where they will take live testimony at a hearing at 8:45 a.m. on July 26. The hearing will be conducted by Zoom.
