Join the ACLU of Alaska's Queer & Trans Justice team for the Vote with a Friend program on Election Day! We're working to make sure that all Alaskans feel safe when they go to cast their ballot in person in the Mat-Su Valley. This event is geared towards queer and trans individuals and visible allies in the Mat-Su who may not feel safe going to the polls by themselves.
We will meet at the locations below and walk to the closest polling station together. See times and locations below.
8am: Meet at Nunley Park (250 E. Swanson Avenue, Wasilla, AK 99654), vote at Wasilla City Hall
10am: Meet at North Fork Professional Buildings (1700 E Bogard Rd, Wasilla, AK 99654), vote at DOE Regional Headquarters*
1pm: Meet at North Fork Professional Buildings (1700 E Bogard Rd, Wasilla, AK 99654), vote at DOE Regional Headquarters*
3pm: Meet at Old Palmer Public Library Parking lot (655 South Valley Way, Palmer, AK 99645), vote at Palmer/Matanuska Susitna Borough Building
5pm: Meet at North Fork Professional Buildings (1700 E Bogard Rd, Wasilla, AK 99654), vote at DOE Regional Headquarters*
*This voting location will have ballots for all state districts available.
