Join the ACLU of Alaska's Queer and Trans Justice team at Black Birch Books on Wednesday, September 18th, from 4-6pm, for the first of a three-part Action Night mini-series on elections. For this first session, we'll go over the basics of elections, help you check that you're registered correctly, get started on voting plans, and go over some basics on election safety. We'll be focusing on some particular challenges queer and trans individuals may face when voting and solutions for those challenges, but everyone is welcome to join and learn.
The ACLU of Alaska does not endorse candidates or ballot measures. We will provide guidance on the mechanics of voting and Alaska elections; we do not provide guidance on who and what to vote for.
